Laura Jackman proudly joins the Encompass Music team with extensive music industry experience in contracting, as a lifelong session vocalist, and as an executive, manager, and coordinator to many music organizations.

Laura has concluded a successful tenure at The Society of Composers & Lyricists where she served as Chief Operations Officer. Prior to the SCL, Laura led teams at The Hollywood Bowl, TAXI A&R, and The LA Youth Studio where she continues to be a co-founder, instructor, and mentor to the next generation of talented, Los Angeles-based, session vocalists.

Laura has also been immersed in media music and the score and songwriting world since childhood as a SAG-AFTRA session singer, and she continues to lend her voice to many major film, television, and album projects. Throughout her career, she has had the immense pleasure of contributing her voice to the music of Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, John Williams, Paul McCartney, Michael Giacchino, Ramin Djawadi, Richard Carpenter, John Debney, Pinar Toprak, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, and many more. She has also contracted talent for commercials, TV, animation, live performances, and film.

Laura is extremely passionate about making sure that important music is heard as well as the complex work it takes to make it happen. When Laura is not in the studio or listening to film scores, she is out on the trails, in the mountains, in the desert, floating down a river, or just about anywhere, blissfully outside and enjoying nature.
