Aiman Khan
Business and Development Strategist
Aiman Khan is a versatile musician, singer-songwriter and media specialist based in Los Angeles. With a passion for the arts and a diverse background in both creative and administrative work, she serves on the Encompass team as a Creative Development Strategist. Aiman holds a Master of Music degree in french horn performance from the USC Thornton School of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia, where she double-majored in Economics and Music.
Aiman’s unique role allows her to work under both Encompass Music Partners and its sister company, Encompass Creative. This positions her to be at the forefront of business development with both entities, and to further the brand and vision of Encompass as a whole. She has a vast wealth of experience and a track record of excellence in many facets of the entertainment industry, including serving as a member of the successful Oscar’s campaign committee for the Academy Award-winning documentary short, The Last Repair Shop. She also assisted in casting musicians for The Last Repair Shop, as well as other notable projects such as Joker: Folie à Deux, Candy Cane Lane, and Apple TV+’s Mere Mortals. Her expertise includes live event and session management, on-camera musician casting, on-set music and performance consultation, and visual media production. In addition to assisting on many of Encompass' studio projects, Aiman also leads the production of in-house visual media content for Encompass Music Partners and Encompass Creative.
Born in New York City to Pakistani parents, Aiman values her experience and perspective as a second-generation immigrant and she strives to uplift her community as well as other under-represented groups in the arts. Prior to joining Encompass, Aiman was a Teaching Artist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s youth education program “YOLA”, where she worked with students in under-served communities to develop their musical skills. She brings her passion for outreach and community building with her to Encompass, and she hopes to continue to support equity and accessibility in the arts. Outside of work, Aiman enjoys adventuring outdoors, being creative, and soaking in all of the music and art that LA has to offer.
